The Cloud That Made Rainbows - Bedtime Stories
Once upon a time, high above the world in a sky full of fluffy white friends, lived a little cloud named Nimbus. But Nimbus was a bit of a lonely cloud. All the other clouds loved to group together, playing hide-and-seek behind the sun and sharing gentle rain showers with the sleepy earth below. Nimbus, however, often drifted alone, watching them with a wistful sigh. He wished he had something special to share, something that would make the other clouds want to play with him.
One sunny morning, as Nimbus was sadly watching a group of clouds make a soft drizzle that watered a field of bright yellow sunflowers, a wise old sunbeam noticed his loneliness. "Little Nimbus," the sunbeam whispered, his voice warm and golden, "why do you look so downcast?"
Nimbus gasped in amazement. "A rainbow! But how did it happen?"
"It happened because the sunlight shone through the water droplets," the sunbeam explained. "And you, little Nimbus, often carry those droplets after your friends have shared their rain. You have the power to create these beautiful bridges of color!"
Nimbus was so excited! He had a special gift after all! He waited until his friends had finished a gentle shower, and then he drifted into the perfect spot. He felt the warm sunlight tickle his fluffy edges, and as the light passed through the tiny water droplets he held, a vibrant rainbow stretched across the sky!
